Panchayat Union Primary School - Udainthamadai This school is located in Udinthaimadai village under Amanathaputhur panchayat, Chengam taluka, Pudupalayam union, Tiruvannamalai district.  This school was started in Udinthaimadai village in the 1990s with a great effort to establish a primary school. Then after a few years, considering the damage caused during the rainy season, the then village head Subramaniam submitted several petitions to the panchayat councils. After a few years, the shanty school received a petition to build a building in 2004 and opened as a school on June 8, 2005 after 6 months of construction.  At that time, a total of fifteen students joined the first class. Mohanraj, Vignesh, Seenu Kavita, Kalaiselvi, Keerthana, Vimala, Devi, Pachaiyappan, Tamilarasu, Venkatesh, Venkatesan, Ranjith, Achuthan and many others built the school first.
